Despite its lightweight aluminum construction (5.1 lbs.), the SS138B tripod stand safely supports up to 70 lbs. and telescopes from 50" to 77" high. Its dual locking height adjustment mechanism clamps the inner 1-3/8" tube, while securing it via a permanently attached pin that slips through pre-punched holes. The speaker adapter plate provided allows stand mounting of most loudspeaker brands. Sockets built into Yamaha's Club IV cabinets make them "speaker-stand ready."
