Quick-release, minimal-contact lug casings are revolutionary in design. They attach to the shell by snapping onto post anchored at the nodal point minimize contact and maximize vibration. They also make head changes faster and easier. Shell is all maple with an exterior finish of high-gloss sparkle lacquer for greater resonance and flash look. Interior finish seals shell from humidity and enhances tone. The lightweight aluminum die-cast hoops offer accurate tuning and also allow the drum to open up much like a triple-flanged hoop without the choking associated with zinc die-cast hoops. This is an extremely dynamic drum with a full, wide-open tone.
