The MP20 provides any console or digital audio workstation with 2 very high-end mic preamps, plus a number of special features that set it apart from the crowd. First of all, its preamps use high-quality mic transformers, FET, Class-A discrete input buffers, dual-servo gain stages, and no capacitors. It includes a left/right mix bus assignment and panning for true stereo imaging. You can enhance the warmth of any microphone using the FET IDSS adjustment which adds harmonic distortion to emulate tube coloration and tape saturation. Servo-balanced send and return jacks on each channel allow external balanced processing, and each channel has gain control, phase reversal, phantom power, a 20dB input pad, 80Hz rumble filter, and full output metering. Unit requires one rack space.
