A diverse-effects database combined with flexible-routing architecture allows the S-200 to provide true stereo processing in a variety of applications such as project or home recording, or live sound reinforcement. It features 99 factory presets, 99 user-programmable locations, enhanced MIDI functionality, and a menu-driven operating system that is ultra-intuitive with parameter soft keys. A custom Graphic LCD display with backlight shows parameters for easier programming, as well as graphics for compressor, noise gate, EQ, and a high-resolution L-R input bar graph. An EQ graphic plots the true frequency responses of applied equalizations, and engine configurations instantly indicate effect type and location in the chain.
